The results of two Delphi studies are described which identified sets of both family-centered principles and practices applicable to elementary schools. A Delphi panel of experts on family-centered practices was asked to indicate the extent to which they agreed on the importance of family-centered belief statements and practice indicators of the principles. Study 1 identified 16 family-centered principles for which there was expert agreement about the applicability of the belief statements to elementary schools. Study 2 identified 72 practices that are behavioral indicators of the 16 family-centered principles. 20 Pages
